The beaches of Erquy

Ten sandy beaches surround the town. Caroual, the big family beach facing the bay, is 5 minutes from the house. The town centre and the harbour are made for strolling, ice cream in hand. Wilder, Lourtuais and Le Portuais have to be earned at the foot of the headland moors. Our tip: Caroual at sunset, when the bay empties out. And on big spring-tide days, the foreshore of the bay turns into a shore-fishing playground that children love.
